ABOUT IOWER

When I was a child, my mom taught me the art of handcrafting — dyeing threads by hand, weaving them into something new. Those memories stayed with me, and years later, that same passion became the reason we started this studio together.

IOWER is a small studio built around one simple belief: things made by hand carry warmth that machines can't replicate. Every piece we create is hand-dyed and hand-woven, using techniques passed down and refined over years of practice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your products made of?

All our macrame and yarn art pieces are hand-woven using 100% pure
cotton yarn. We hand-select and often hand-dye the yarn ourselves in
small batches, so slight color variation between pieces is normal and
part of the handmade charm.

Will my item look exactly like the photo?

Since every piece is handmade, not machine-printed, there will be
small natural variations in knotting, texture, and yarn flow — no two
pieces are ever 100% identical. This is what makes handmade art special!

How should I care for / fluff up my piece after it arrives?

Because each piece is folded or rolled for shipping, it's normal for
the yarn to look a little flat or creased when it first arrives. Here's
how to get it looking its best:
1. Unpack and hang it up as soon as possible — don't leave it folded
in the box for too long.
2. Gently shake out the strands by hand to loosen the fibers.
3. Use a wide-tooth comb (a dog/pet grooming comb works great) and
lightly comb through the tassels from top to bottom to smooth out
any tangles.
4. Let it hang undisturbed for 1–3 days — gravity will naturally
help the fibers settle into a soft, even drape.
5. If it still looks slightly uneven after a few days, a light misting
of water followed by combing can help reshape the strands.
Avoid ironing, direct heat, or pulling on the yarn, as this can damage
the natural texture.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are handmade to order and typically ship
within 3–5 business days. Delivery then takes an additional 10–15
business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking
number by email as soon as your order ships.

We want you to love your IOWER piece. If there's an issue with
quality or damage during shipping, contact us within 7 of
